Company Overview

InFlight Corporation develops and sells technology that enables customers to economically extract the maximum value from their student, line-of-business, and learning management systems. Its software has proven valuable in higher education institutions and across industry verticals, for customers with just a few hundred users to those with over 100,000 users worldwide.

Oracle Validated Integration provides customers with confidence that a partner’s integration with an on-premise Oracle application is functionally sound and performs as designed. This can help customers reduce deployment risk, lower total cost of ownership, and improve the user experience related to the partner’s integrated offering.

InFlight enables you to reinvent the look and feel, optimize the presentation, and improve usability of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions for your end users. This transformed content can be surfaced directly to mobile devices or embedded in third-party portal systems. InFlight works by brokering communication between end users and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. It connects to PeopleSoft web servers and requests content the way an end user would. InFlight then transforms rendered content using a sophisticated engine called InFlight Next Level Transformation (NLX). This means PeopleSoft Campus Solutions’ entire security stack, role based access controls, business logic, and validation rules are automatically applied—so you don’t have to reinvent what you already own.

InFlight NLX distills rendered, security-trimmed PeopleSoft Campus Solutions content into user-first and mobile-first interface designs to dramatically improve usability across all device types for both customized and delivered PeopleSoft Campus Solutions content. Users can view and make changes to data within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions without having to leave their intranet portal or pinch-zoom to manipulate forms.

InFlight customers enjoy the following benefits:

  • Integrate content from PeopleSoft Campus Solutions into third-party portal systems—or directly to mobile devices—quickly, easily, and cost-effectively. No customization is required.
  • Get a modern user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices without incurring the cost or disruption of migrating to a new ERP system.
  • See results quickly; InFlight installs in hours and most implementations begin and end within 7 to 10 days.
  • Preserve PeopleSoft Campus Solutions’ native security stack and business logic. InFlight is offered with following optional features:
  • Single-sign-on capability
  • Ability to implement a complete strategy for creating accessibility-compliant content in conformance with government regulations
  • Prepackaged sets of modernized PeopleSoft Campus Solutions content
  • An offline editor to enable rapid prototyping of mobile-friendly content

InFlight NLX is an HTTP reverse proxy server paired with a powerful content transformation engine. Its transformation engine is a rules-based system that uses web-standard technologies—such as regular expressions and jQuery or cascading style sheets (CSS3) selectors—to filter and transform PeopleSoft Campus Solutions content without having to modify the system itself. InFlight customers are able to deliver any PeopleSoft Campus Solutions content to mobile devices or to third-party portals, including components, navigation collections, pagelets, and queries. InFlight is commonly used to improve the end user experience of:

  • Student self-service
  • Faculty self-service
  • Student enrollment or view-my-grades capabilities
  • Student financials
